Attention now moves onto the League One play-off final where Leyton Orient take on Rotherham United and then Fleetwood Town face Burton Albion in the League Two play-off final on Monday.

Leyton Orient v Rotherham United Betting Tips

Leyton Orient are hoping to end their 32 year wait for a return to the second tier of English football as they play Rotherham in on Sunday afternoon.

Russell Slade’s side started this season like a house on fire with nine straight wins but a dip in form in November and December saw them pick up just two wins in seven.

They ended having to settle for third but the Londoners come into the play-off final unbeaten in four, most recently beating Peterborough United 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Orient have a couple of injury concerns ahead of the final, but winger Dean Cox will be available after being substituted in the second leg with a groin strain.

Rotherham are on the hunt for a return to the Championship for the first time since 2005, and after a 4-1 aggregate win over Preston North End in the semi-finals, they’re just one match away from returning there.

Steve Evans has no fresh injury concerns before the Wembley showdown, with Richard Brindley set for a return from a hamstring injury which kept him out of the semis.

The South Yorkshire won the last meeting between the sides at the start of February at the New York Stadium, 2-1 and they are 7/5 favourites with Bet 365.

BET OF THE DAY: However, I could see Orient snatching the win, with Bet Victor offereing decent odds of 85/40.

Fleetwood Town v Burton Albion Betting Tips

Bank Holiday Monday afternoon sees the final play-off final this season as both Fleetwood Town and Burton Albion vie for promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time.

Fleetwood are aiming to continue their meteoric rise through the leagues and they win this match, they’ll have completed six promotions in ten years.

The Lancashire side have tasted just one defeat in their last ten games, squeezing past York City in the semi-finals, winning their home match 1-0 to book their spot at Wembley.

Burton were also a non-league outfit five years ago, and they made it through to the final by beating Southend United 3-2 on aggregate.

Gary Rowett will be without defender Ian Sharps who was sent off in the semi-finals whilst Zeli Ismail and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff are both injury doubts.

This will be the fifth meeting between the two sides this season, with Burton Albion winning their FA Cup second round tie after a replay.

The most recent meeting between the sides saw Fleetwood take a 4-2 win away from the Pirelli Stadium in a League Two clash back in January and they are 7/5 favourites with Bet Victor to win the match before penalties. Bet 365 offer the best odds on Burton winning the match at 23/10.

The match is live on Sky Sports 1 from 3pm.
