Miami at Houston Betting Tips

Conor PhillipsNBA Betting Tips

There are six games on offer in the NBA on Wednesday, with many of the league’s best teams in action. Miami Heat continue to close down leaders Indiana, however both sides are in good form and will be looking for wins.

Heat travel to Houston for a difficult contest, whilst Indiana play Golden State. San Antonio, Oklahoma and LA Clippers are other top teams also in action.

Miami at Houston Betting Tips

Erik Spoelstra’s men have won eight in a row and are rightly favourites at 4/5 to beat the Rockets. The hosts have a fine record of their own and have only lost seven matches at the Toyota Center all season so it will not be easy for either side.

LeBron James recorded a career high 61 points in Miami’s win over Charlotte on Tuesday , which also broke the Heat’s franchise record and saw him shoot 8/10 from the arc in a truly breathtaking display.

The best bet for me is to stick with Miami Heat who are in such good form and should be welcoming Dwayne Wade back for the match after he sat out against Charlotte. The odds represent decent value for a multiple bet.

Golden State at Indiana Betting Tips

Miami’s conference rivals Indiana haven’t got it easy either. They will bid to win a sixth straight game, whilst the Warriors look to get back to winning ways after their defeat to Toronto. Bet Victor offer the best price of 1/2 for an Indiana win, whilst Golden State are best price 15/8 with Sky Bet.

Pacers have lost only three home games this term and are also worth sticking in a multiple bet, however single player and score bets may be the better option in this one.

The hosts are known for starting slow, therefore Golden State to lead at the half before an Indiana win represents decent value at 9/2. Indiana to win by 6-10 at 10/3 is another decent bet, as is three-point specialist Steph Curry to score above 23.5 points. Paddy Power offer the best price of 5/6.

Clippers at Phoenix Betting Tips

Phoenix Suns welcome L A Clippers to the US Airways Center for an all-Western, almost guaranteed entertaining contest. Clippers sit in fifth and have won four in a row, whilst Phoenix are just two places behind and are on a two game winning streak.

Bet Victor offer the best price of 7/10 for a Clippers win, whilst Suns can be backed at 7/5 with Bwin. Both sides are hit with injury; Clippers are without Jamal Crawford and J.J Redick and Suns’ star guard Eric Bledsoe is still absent, along with Leandro Barbosa and Emeka Okafor.

Blake Griffin has been one of the NBA’s best performers throughout this campaign. He is currently averaging 24.2 points per game, along with 9.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists. For him to score above 25.5, Paddy Power offer 8/11.

Gerald Green top scored with 33 in Suns win over Atlanta on Monday and he is my best bet to score above 17.5 points at 5/6 with Paddy Power.

San Antonio have got back to winning ways of late and are 4/11 favourites to beat Cleveland. The odds of 13/15 for a Lakers win seem tempting, as they have won their last two and face a New Orleans side who are completely out of sorts, losing eight matches in a row. Finally, Oklahoma are as short at 1/33 to beat Philadelphia, who have lost a staggering 14 consecutive games.

BET OF THE DAY: San Antonio, Indiana, L A Lakers to win
