Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl – NCAA College Football

Fresno State Bulldogs @ USC Trojans – Sat, Dec 21 20:30

The 11-1 Fresno State Bulldogs take on the University of Southern California Trojans in this bowl matchup. The Bulldogs have had a fantastic season, only losing their last game of the season and therefore missing a shot at the BCS Championship game. Quarterback Derek Carr leads college football in total yards (4983), pass yardage per game (405.5), pass yardage (4866) and has 48 touchdowns on a quite incredible season, while receiver Davante Adams has 8 more touchdowns than any receiver in college football with23. Despite their phenomenal season, the Bulldogs have struggled historically in Bowls with just an 11-13 record including 4 straight losses. The Trojans however are the second most winning team in bowl history with 31, only trailing Alabama. The Trojans have struggled with injuries and the revolving door of head coaches this season, but managed to recover somewhat toward the end of the season with a 9-4 record. Sports network is predicting a win for the Trojans, and they go in at 5/12 with Paddy Power. The Bulldogs are 11/5 with William Hill. Bet 365 are offering 5/6 and 7/10 on USC to win both halves and USC to be leading at half time respectively. However, they are also offering 18/4 for the Bulldogs to win by 1-6, a fair bet looking at the form of the two teams over the season. SU are 21/20 to score the longest touchdown of the game, while the game to finish under 63 points is 10/11, both with Bet 365. Ladbrokes are offering 10/11 for the score to be under 31.5 at the end of the first half, and the Bulldogs to score over 34.5 points is 17/20 with Bet Victor.

BET OF THE DAY – Under 9.5 Touchdowns – Bet 365. Despite the odds of 5/12, the likelihood of over 70 points in touchdowns make this a respectable banker.
