NFL Thanksgiving betting tips

The thanksgiving holidays in America sees the second biggest game of the NFL season after the Superbowl, and were treated to some fantastic match-ups on a Thursday night.

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions – Thurs, Nov 28 17:30

The 6-5 Detroit Lions host the 5-5-1 Green Bay Packers, who are winless since losing quarter back Aaron Rogers. The Lions have lost their last two and need a W at home to stay top of the NFC North, with the Packers only a game behind in 3rd. The Lions go in at 1/3 with Totesport, with the Packers 12/5 with Bet Victor. Lions receiver Nate Burleson returned from injury last week with a touchdown, and he’s 2/1 with Ladbrokes to score anytime. The lions to win by 1-10 seems safe at 13/10 with Paddy Power, whilst over 48.5 points in total is 10/11 with Ladbrokes.

Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys – Thurs, Nov 28 21:30

The struggling Oakland Raiders take on a Dallas team that is really hitting its stride. The cowboys are 6-5 and have won 4 of their last 6 games, with Bet 365 offering 5/19 for them to win. The Raiders have had flashes of brilliance but are inconsistent and are 3/1 with Bet 365 thanks to their 4-7 record. Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens – Friday, Nov 29 1:30

The best divisional matchup tonight sees the 5-6 Steelers on a 3 game win streak at the 5-6 Ravens who are 4-1 at home. The Steelers are 5/4 with Ladbrokes whilst the ravens are favourites at 8/11 with Paddy Power. This could be a game of defense as both teams have struggled at times on offence, and William Hill offer 15/4 on under 3 touchdown. Paddy Power offer 7/5 and 13/5 on the Steelers receiving duo of Antonio Brown and Jerricho Cotchery to score a touchdown anytime respectively. The Ravens to win the game by 1-13 is 7/5, also with Paddy Power.

BET OF THE DAY – Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys – Jason Witten is 6/5 to score a touchdown anytime with Coral. He got two last week and faces a poor secondary that Tony Romo should pick apart with ease.
