Despite some of the best teams being on a bye week this week including the 49ers and Broncos, NFL week 9 still offers some thrilling match-ups as we pass the halfway point of the NFL season.
Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers – Tue, 5 Nov 01:40
Both teams have injury trouble as the Green Bay receiving core has been decimated in recent weeks, while the 4-3 Bears are without QB Jay Cutler for a second straight week. Packers are long at 1/5 with Boylesports, while the Bears are 43/10 with Bwin. The 5-2 Packers are evens with Paddy Power to score under30.5 points, which is sensible considering the lack of receivers. The bears should use running back Matt Forte even more without Jay Cutler, and he’s 6/4 to beat Green Bay’s Eddie Lacy in rushing yards with Ladbrokes. Forte leads Lacy in every major rushing category so far this season. Forte is also evens with Coral to score a touchdown anytime.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Seattle Seahawks – Sun, 3 Nov 21:05
The Buccaneers will make the 3000 mile journey to Seattle to face the Seahawks Sunday as a winless NFL team, and as if the journey wasn’t enough the Seahawks are 7-1 this season and haven’t lost at home since 2011. This is reflected by the odds with the Seahawks and Bucs 1/12 and 17/2 with Ladbrokes and Bet Victor respectively. The Bucs to score under 12 points is 5/6 with Paddy Power while the Seahawks are 11/20 to win by 11-20 points, also with Paddy Power. Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is 2/5 to score a touchdown anytime with William Hill, while pacy quarterback Russell Wilson is 3/1 with Coral.
New Orleans Saints @ New York Jets – Sun, 3 Nov 18:00
The 4-4 Jets come off a bewildering loss to the pass offense of the Cincinnati Bengals, and should be shaking in their boots facing the diverse New Orleans vertical pass game. The Saints boast a much improved defence that has only conceded over 18 points once, leading to a 7-1 record. The Saints to win by 13+ points is 23/10 and this to be the highest scoring game of the weekend is 6/1 both with Paddy Power. Lance Moore to score a touchdown anytime is 3/1 with Boylesports, and he scored on his first game back from injury this week against the Bills. Also to score anytime is Former Saint Chris Ivory at 2/1 with Bet 365, and the running back is improving week to week with more carries in New York.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills – Sun, Nov 3 18:00
The unbeaten 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs meet the 3-5 Bills on Sunday, with the unbeaten Chiefs surprisingly good value at 5/9 with Coral. William Hill rate the Bills at 33/20 to score the upset, with the pick of the Bills odds being Fred Jackson to score anytime is 6/5 with Bet Victor. The Chiefs defence has suffocated teams all season leading the lead in most categories, and facing a potential 3rd or 4th backup quarterback in the Bills Jeff Tuel or Matt Flynn. The defence to score a touchdown anytime is 15/4 withBet Victor which seems a good bet with the lack of quality the Bills have at quarterback. The Chiefs to win by 13+ points is 3/1 with Paddy Power, and this should be an easy notch on the win sheet for the chiefs
BET OF THE DAY – CHICAGO BEARS @ GREEN BAY PACKERS – Matt Forte to score a touchdown anytime evens with Coral. Forte has 6 touchdowns in 9 games, and the Bears will rely on him more with quarterback Jay Cutler out injured.
