Week 6 In the NFL betting sees some intriguing matchups, with the biggest spread in NFL history, two future Hall of Fame Quarterbacks facing off and three teams still unbeaten as we get closer to the half way point of the season.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos 18:00 GMT
The unbeaten Denver Broncos are favoured for a record breaking 28+ point spread in hosting the 0-5 Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jags go in as one of the biggest underdog teams in recent sporting history, and Betvictor offer 1/50 on the Bronco’s to win, with the Jags at 25/1 with Ladbrokes. The size of the victory is the only question worth answering for the bookmakers, and the pick has to be Sporting Bet offering evens on the Broncos scoring under 40.5 points. With the Jags likely chasing the game for the entirety, the Jags mercurial receiver Justin Blackmon is a good option as anytime Touchdown scorer, 13/5 with Paddy Power.
New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots 21:25 GMT
The battling 4-1 New England Patriots host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday with the Saints one of only 4 unbeaten teams still remaining in the NFL. Saints tight end Jimmy Graham leads the league in receiving yards and Quarterback Drew Brees is second to only Peyton Manning in pass yardage, so the Saints are a good option, especially going in at 6/5 with Sporting Bet. The home team – at 10/13 with Bwin – has suffered all season with injuries and a lack of options for future hall of famer quarterback Tom Brady, but at home the Patriots are strong. Brady is evens with Ladbrokes to outscore Drew Brees in pass yardage, with Brees at 4/7.
Green Bay Packers @ Baltimore Ravens 18:00 GMT
The 3-2 Baltimore Ravens host the 2-2 Green Bay Packers on Sunday, with Green Bay missing iconic pass rusher Clay Matthews. With this in mind, Baltimore to win at 5/4 with Boylesports is a fantastic option, with both offense and defense improving in recent weeks for the Ravens. The Pack can never be ruled out though, and with all the offensive options available to Aaron Rogers, Ladbrokes offer 5/7. Flacco is fourth in the league in interceptions with 8, and Paddy Power offer an anytime touchdown odds of 7/2 on the Packers Defense, whilst the Ravens Torrey Smith is 5/4 with Ladbrokes, also anytime, coming off the back of a big game last week against the Texans.
Elsewhere the Washington Reskins face the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East divisional matchup; The 2-3 Houston Texans host the 2-3 Saint Louis Rams and the Carolina Panthers host the Minnesota Vikings, with Last year’s MVP for the Vikings Adrian Peterson questionable after the death of his 2 year old son.
